great news via the kt today, as we find that the IOC remains equally as vigilant in fighting corruption and ‘questionable’ ethics as the korean government itself. it seems that regular be careful your head funboy lee kun-hee has been granted full reinstatement by the olympics’ governing body. in an unrelated matter, he’s rumored to be dotting the i’s on a deal that will give him the 12:30 time slot just after leno and soon to be vacated by jimmy fallon. andy richter’s participation has yet to be confirmed.

regular followers of this blog…well, okay, i’ll just stop right there, as it’s abundantly clear that such an individual doesn’t really exist. i know that because my blog stats tell me that the vast majority of my impressively inconsiderable volume of hits come from search engines and random, aimless tumblr stumbles. which is fine, i suppose. as i said at the beginning, i didn’t start the blog in order to get people to follow it. and in that i suppose we’d have to say that i’ve been overwhelmingly successful. what does disappoint me, i guess, is that i had hoped to do a lot more writing, a lot more exploring, and just in general getting a lot more of my own thoughts down on (e)paper. and it likely wouldn’t be much of a stretch to draw some sort of correlation between the lack of hits from friends and family and the fact that there’s very little of any personal import or relevance to be found here. sure, there’s a boatload of awesome, as merchanted by me. well, swiped by me from people who are actually cool, at least. but there’s little if anything that i’ve actually made.
so i’m writing this in the hopes of re-focusing, re-tasking, and re-tooling. and all i ask of those precious few of you that come around from time to time to pay your respects, is that you keep me honest, and keep me writing. cheers.
